TUESDAY MORNING CLUBS (8:00-9:00 AM)
Spanish Club (Grades 1-5) Cost: $70
Instructor: Ms. Sergek Max Enrollment: 15 Room: 110
Spanish club will introduce students to basic Spanish words and vocabulary on a variety of topics; as well as learning simple phrases to communicate with other Spanish speakers.
 
Running/Movement Club (Grades K-2) Cost: $75
Instructor(s):  Ms. Salley and Mr. Salley Max Enrollment: 30 Room: 104
Come join the fun and run (or walk)! Build your strength, sense of self and stamina while learning proper techniques for game based running. Students will participate in team building, goal setting, and self-esteem building activities. Students should wear athletic shoes (sneakers) and clothes they can run in. Don’t forget your water bottle!
 
American Girl Doll Club (Grades K-5) Cost: $75

Grab your doll and join us as we travel the world. We'll travel to the beach, the mountains, the safari and more! As we travel we'll make accessories for your doll to wear and use on their adventures! It's sure to be a blast! *Any 18” doll is welcome. If your student needs to borrow one please reach out to clubs@vespto.com.

 

Volleyball Club (Grades 3-5) Cost: $75

The Volleyball Club is for beginner players, grades 3-5th. We will focus on footwork, hand/eye coordination, body/ball control, agility and so much more! These skills are important to every young volleyball athlete. We will build upon these skills as we play against our peers in drills and on the court. Volleyball club is designed to set up players for success as they continue to grow in their volleyball skills.
   
TUESDAY AFTERNOON CLUBS (4:10-5:10 PM)
Sticky Fingers (Grades K-3) Cost: $210

Join our ‘COOL’inary Cooking Club with NEW recipes each week! Your young chef will have so much fun discovering how easy and enjoyable it is to cook tasty, healthy, globally-inspired recipes! Classes will incorporate S.T.E.A.M., culture, language, geography, history and more!
 
Running/Sports Club (Grades 3-5) Cost: $75
Instructor(s): Ms. Song and Ms. Staples Max Enrollment: 25 Room: 211

Do you have spirit?  YES YOU DO! Come learn to cheer with Ms. Eagan! Students should wear athletic shoes and bring a water bottle.  We will learn cheers, jumps, and a dance. It is a great way to show our school pride!
 
Junk Journaling Club (Grades 4&5) Cost: $90

A junk journal is a handmade book filled with personal and recycled materials to store thoughts, memories, and ideas. As its name implies, the pages are filled with material that’s usually thrown away, or extra materials from another project. Anything may be used to create a journal. Pages from old books, tickets, receipts, fabric scraps, lace, ribbon, wrapping paper, pictures, stickers, brochures, and so much more!

Victory’s Junk Journal Club is an opportunity for your student to be creative in a collaborative, safe, and inspiring environment!

Calling all LEGO fanatics! Creativity, problem solving, and teamwork are some of the skills that “playing” with LEGOS can teach children. Come show your creativity as you build LEGO creations with your friends! Each week will be full of fun and engaging challenges!
 
Chess Club (Grades K-5) Cost: $175

Learn chess with Magnus Academy (formerly Silver Knights), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state & national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies. All skill levels are welcome!

Join Ms. Evelyn for an inspirational art club! Learn about popular artists and make your own creations with a variety of art supplies and recycled materials. Short lessons on techniques will be provided to help artists learn how to use the different mediums, including watercolor, oil pastels, and charcoals. *If you previously took Art Club the same topics/materials will be covered as last spring.
 
Craft Club (Grades K-3) Cost: $75

Bring your creative and crafty side and join us for fun and friends in Craft Club! A new craft each week!
 
Taekwondo Club (Grades K-5) Cost: $75

Master Leo
Max Enrollment: 16 Room: Cafeteria

This innovative series of classes is designed to build students' respect, focus, cooperation, self-control and self-confidence in a way that they can easily apply at school and at home.  The classes will focus on developing positive character traits, including how to deal with issues such as being bullied, which is often the effect of low self-esteem or self-confidence. This club is hosted by Mt Kim Martial Arts.

Club Scholarships

Scholarships are offered on a first come, first served basis for those in need.  

Need is determined by the VES Counselors and Social Workers based on Free and Reduced Meals applications and other factors.  

 

Filling out the Scholarship Request form does not guarantee your student a

spot in any club or a club scholarship.  

If there are many families applying for club scholarship spots,

each family may be limited to one club scholarship.

 

+Scholarship requests will be open from January 23, 2025 at 7 am  to January 27, 2025 at 6 pm. 

+You will be notified of club scholarship approval or denial by January 28. 

+Club scholarship registration will be from January 29th at 7am  to February 7th at 6pm.  

+Scholarship registration will occur concurrently with open registration.  A scholarship code does not guarantee entry into a club.
